Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapy programs focus on assessing each patient’s needs, goal setting and individualized home exercise programs to improve or recover functional mobility, decrease the risk of falls and achieve set goals, thereby improving quality of life.

Physical Therapy begins with a comprehensive evaluation by a licensed Physical Therapist. The initial evaluation includes an assessment of pain, strength, range of motion, balance, ambulation, neurological deficits and functional impairments, as well as other variables that affect overall function and quality of life.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapy programs assess each patient’s needs, including the most appropriate adaptive equipment, to improve the ability to dress, groom, bathe and cook (Activities of Daily Living), improve upper extremity strength and build independence at home. Occupational Therapy begins with a comprehensive assessment by a licensed Occupational Therapist of the home environment, adaptive equipment needs, range of motion, strength, energy and breathing coordination, and the ability to perform activities of daily living.

Speech Therapy

Our Speech Therapy programs focus on the treatment of cognitive-communication deficits, memory care, increasing the volume of the voice for certain conditions and improving the ability to swallow. Speech-language pathologists identify, assess, treat and prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. Services begin with an initial screening and continue with assessment and diagnosis, consultation, treatment and follow-up care.
